I only had time for a brief look at Decoy Lake this morning, where the male
Scaup remains but more unexpected was a party of 5
Teal, the first time I've seen this species on the lake. Also 30
Tufted Ducks and singles of
Great Crested Grebe,
Kingfisher and
Chiffchaff present.
Not really worth a blog post but I was happy with a flock of 17-18 Black-tailed Godwit which flew upriver over the Salty on Saturday afternoon. Only my second record from the house in two years.
